Wine White makes two dark and white grapes. The light color is due to the process. Considering that red wine is made by fermenting grapes with skin and seeds, white wine is made by separating the skin from the juice. The pigmentation of the skin or seeds are not allowed to color the juice but very dark skins give a slight color wine, called "blush".
